The Servant Leader of the Year Award was established to recognize and acknowledge a student whose involvement in service activities and projects has benefited GC, the surrounding community, and humanity. This award honors a student that has significantly encouraged enthusiasm and college participation in service activities and made outstanding contributions to the community. All members of recognized student organizations are eligible to be nominated to receive this award. The committee will consider the nomination based on the following criteria: contributions to the community at large through service, involvement, and leadership.
Individual Awards may be submitted by any member of the GC community (student, staff, faculty, or organizational advisor) who has first-hand knowledge of the student's contribution. Before completing this form, consider the following: - In what ways has this individual contributed to the organization(s)/project(s) listed above? - How did this person use his/her skills to enhance the organization(s)/project(s)? - In what events, programs, or projects has this individual taken an active leadership role? - How has this person helped or encouraged new leaders in the organization/project? - Describe why you believe this person deserves the Servant Leader of the Year Award.
